Arnold, GE Aerospace, Bishops Cleeve about their
experiences piloting a new higher apprenticeship
programme with Gloucestershire College and University
of West of England.

supply chain
– Andrew Jarvis,
Head of Building Services, Asset Management &
Property Services. Andrew will lead a discussion on
how apprenticeships can help supply chain partners demonstrate
their commitment to providing added value and meeting
essential quality standards.

The South West Apprenticeship
Company (SWAC)
O
ffering a new innovative way of
managing Apprenticeships, the SWAC is based on a successful
Australian model.
It acts as the central point
between Apprentice, Workplace and Training Provider, employing the
apprentice directly in a similar way to a recruitment agency. This
new system provides a low risk opportunity to all employers who
have found it difficult to commit fully to an Apprentice.
