100% of proceeds go to Oldham Mountain Rescue.
We are kicking off Spring with Oldham's first Twestival and holding
two events to enable as many people as possible to join in the fun.
Places are limited at both events so you do need to book quickly to
ensure your entry.
Sunlight Twestival
From 4pm to 6pm (i.e straight from school)
The Earl Dance Centre in
the Earl Business Centre on Dowry Street, OL8 2PF will host Sunlight
Twestival - with fun for all the family. We have some cracking
activities planned, dance workshops and demos, music, cookery demos
from an award winning chef, face painting, craft workshops and more.
Some of these activities, and any food purchased will have a small
additional cost. We want to raise as much money for Oldham Mountain
Rescue as possible.
Twestival After Dark
From 6pm - 9pm
Our After Dark Twestival is being hosted at Boundary Park's Corner
Flag Suite, overlooking the famous Latics ground. All attendees
will get a goodie bag (with goodies that almost cancel out the cost of
your entry fee!). There will also be an auction of 'money can't
buy' items, fabulous raffle with prizes that have been generously
donated by local businesses, and a local themed quiz or TWIZ (!), with
a prize. The evening will be hosted by our compere, Latics warm up guy
Broady. There will also be a Twitter wall so you can connect with
other Twestivals around the world, and make some new Twitter friends.
Come and join us for our inaugural Twestival, connecting local
Twitterati offline to raise money for the very worthwhile Oldham
Mountain Rescue. It's your chance to meet face to face your new found
Twitter friends, at Oldham's first Tweet-up!!
